Chick Quest is alive and well and bringing us so much with the release of their second album, Model View Controller out tomorrow, February 24! 
It’s no secret I am a big fan of these guys and I have been waiting patiently to share this with our 50thirdand3rd audience. MVC is ten songs, and the cohesive quality of the songs makes it an easy transition from their first album, Vs. Galore. Same great sound and energy with that heavy bass pumping you up with that western feel and a controlled desire for escaping the inevitable. The lyrics seem like such a personal quest themselves, as if you as a listener are intruding on the emotions being played out in the melody. The music creeping up higher and higher as you listen in and let the intensity wrap itself around you. It’s dark and exciting and you can totally get lost in this new album.
“Savant Garde” is a good little tease on what to expect with Model View Controller… It’s catchy and strong and so appealing. And it’s true, the more you listen to the songs the more you get drawn into them.
