Without a doubt , spending hours of my time talking about Bands that I dig is a joy for me, it’s not work and I don’t get paid…Except, I do get to work with some very cool cats who are people that I have tremendous respect for .Eric Friedl is at the top of my list for all things cool as is Goner Records. For all of us here at 50thirdand3rd , speaking for my buddies Ben and Stephen, we are pleased to announce that 50thirdand3rd will be working with Goner Records again this year to introduce all of you to the Bands of Gonerfest 12. The end result hopefully would be that you will make plans now to be in Memphis from September 24th -27th. Working with Madison and Eric last year made my highlight of the year reel and I’m genuinely stocked to be working with Goner Records to help bring the Bands of Gonerfest 12 to all of you again this year. and now ….drumroll please..

“I had a great time… I saw a bunch of awesome bands, picked up some records that I am looking forward to listening to, met a lot of friendly and fun people (many of whom had accents I just adored, seriously), and got to visit Memphis.” – Razorcake
“What else was good? Literally, and I’m not just being nice here, everything. Every band at this exquisitely-curated festival kicked ass. I guess I could quibble and try to pick this thing apart, but fuck that, because that’s definitely not how I felt about my weekend. I had an absolute blast. It reinvigorated my passion for this music and made me want to write about it way more often. No band on the lineup could be missed…” – Shake Appeal/Pitchfork
