Wassup Rocker Radio’s Sickest Song of the Week: GLOO – ‘Big Smoke’

On ‘Big Smoke‘ Littlehampton, UK’s GLOO may be a little jaded and cynical but I get the sense they like to have a good time. Despite the grunge in a good mood clamor, ‘Big Smoke‘ bounces with the best of them.

Gloo has one album and EP and a handful of singles under their belt and seems to love to pair grungy noise with catchy garage punk hooks, kind of like early trashier White Reaper. ‘Big Smoke‘ is the trio’s latest single and it’s a slab of 90s grungey goodness with metallic pub rock guitars and a sing-along chorus.
