Porches second single off their upcoming album Pool, “Be Apart,” is a throbbing eighties throwback. The video’s slow motion journey through a New York City mansion finds Porches members playing ping pong, drinking milk, and and sitting silently together in a supposed trance. “I’ll wait for it to come, I am so patient/And when it really does, I’ll let it have me whole” sings lead vocalist Aaron Maine. The song and video are a little creepy, a little suspicious, and a little glamorous.
