Video of the Day is Stay by Plants and Animals

Plants and AnimalsHere is a smooth melody with an acoustic opening that is perfect for this Spring Sunday. The video “Stay”, itself a show of spastic dancing fast and slow, playing out to the beat of the song, making me want to float around my room and just let go. Plants and animals is a trio based out of Montreal. Nicolas Basque, Warren C. Spicer and Woody Matthew Woodley played together growing up and have been singing and making music internationally since 2008. The last two years finds them going back to their roots a bit, and making music the way most natural for them. What we get out of that comes Waltzed in from the Rumbling. A collection of their most creative and soul baring music we have yet to experience. “Eleven soundtracks for leaps taken, ships sailed, dark water and pink skies.” Waltzed in from the Rumbling is due out late April 2016 via Secret City Records.

Directed by Hanako Hoshimi-Caines and Yves Bourgeois
