Video of the Day – “LAST RUN OF THE LIGONIER VALLEY LINE” by Burlap Road

Like a living Normal Rockwell painting… Edited by Brian Parker, the video features actual footage of the train’s final journey, along with the people and places who were there to say good bye to an era

I will start off 2017 with a video from my friends band, Burlap Road. And It is a beautiful tune, that should bring a tear to your eye , I know I’ve listened to this many a times and it always gets me.

From Pittsburgh, PA – the heart of America’s working class music and hearty good times – Burlap Road plays an eclectic mix of original, contemporary, and traditional American Roots music featuring acoustic guitar rhythms backed by djembe & electric bass beneath soulfully sung vocals, fiddle runs, harmonica solos and hot lead guitar riffs.

THE GROUP:

Chuck Bowen – Rhythm guitar & lead vocals
Mike Streily – Harmonica
Paul Scholle – Lead & rhythm guitars
Mark Lang – Lead & rhythm guitars, djembe, electric bass & shakers
Sarah Bowen-Salio – Lead & background vocals
Craig Saunders – Fiddle & tambourine
