Today we feature one of my favorite new bands on this planet The Franklys. I want you to watch this cool video and go check out their other tracks. Once their debut LP hits , rest assured I’ll bring that to all of you.
Comprised of two members from Sweden and two from England, The Franklys play frenetic garage rock with heavy and psychedelic overtones á la Led Zeppelin-Blondie-Strokes-QOTSA-punk-pop-rock-madness.
With extensive touring across both the UK, Europe and America, including festival slots at Isle of Wight, Download Festival and Camden Rocks, The Franklys are surely making themselves known as one of the most exciting new live acts on the UK band circuit.
Their debut album will be hitting stores in early 2017.

Here’s the video for the next single off our debut album – ‘Weasel’. Written when we were at a rehearsal, overtired and totally zonked out and decided to do what we do best; Ridiculousness. Filmed on a very cold Sunday in February in London, it took a week to get warm again. Directed, filmed, produced, edited & graded by Matt & Katie Waghorne, and with the acting skills of badass coach Sarah-Jane Gill, super fan Gerald Gill, lovely lady Pauline Biggs & Lucia Le Zorro the dog.
