There are a ton of “scenes” going on right now across the world. It has been a fantastic year for new music from garage and psych to post punk and just about anything else you would want to listen to. There have been some really cool albums and it’s been a little crazy trying to keep up with all the great new bands. One of the labels that Girlsville Records turned me on to through the tracks on their excellent comp (V/A) “Stupid Punk Boy” is Stolen Body Records. I’m friends with a lot of really cool people who run some kick ass Record Labels and I would put Stolen Body Records high on any list you may have to buy or listen to records from , now if I could just figure out who sells these records in the USA without paying import fees, that might help. ANYWAY…dig on in, you might know some of these bands through our “Meet The Bands” some have been and others will be Records/Videos of The Day but all in all you won’t be able to switch away from these tracks and as always…crank it up, tell me what you like in the comments and we’ll see if we can get some more stuff up from all of these bands.

The third annual Bristol Psych Fest. We’ve moved to a new venue – The Crofters Rights – to mix it up a little.
We’re taking over the whole pub…We’ll have stalls and DJ’s in the front bar for the start of the day and bands starting in the back room in the late afternoon. As always it will be FREE ENTRY.
