After Billy Childish and his prior band (Thee Milkshakes) broke up, Billy formed Thee Mighty Caesars in 1985. The band recorded 10 (!!) albums between 1985 and 1989 (which also included appearances from The Delmonas) but after 1989’s “John Lennon’s Corpse Revisited” the band went on hiatus. During this time two band members joined Billy on his next project “Thee Headcoats”. Below is the song “True To You” from 1986’s “Thee Caesars Of Trash”, one of my favorite LP’s from the band.
