Formed in Ohio in 2004 by Singer/Guitarist Jonnie Vincenzo and Bassist Russell Bombik, The Velvematics play Chuck Berry/Lazy Cowgirls style no frills Rn’R.
Their debut release “Dialectic Materialism” was released in August of 2006 and the follow up “Black Leather Rebel” in 2011.
These guys might not be inventing the musical wheel again but when most “music” is made in the corporate kitchen with cookie cutters, I’ll take the real stuff anytime.
