The Iconic Roxy Music ‘ Album Covers ‘ !

Roxy Music

In the early 70’s Roxy Music, with their visual and musical sophistication and their preoccupation with style and glamour, was on the experimental side of glam rock. The combination of their art rock, weird outfits and risky LP covers made the group highly influential for generations to come.
In the following short documentary Bryan Ferry and fashion designer Antony Price (who dressed ‘The Roxy Girls’ and also done work for several other artists including Duran Duran, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart …) discuss how they created 8 album covers for the band. For most people iconic sleeves, for others tasteless exploitation. This documentary, with rare photo shoot images, is a must see for Roxy fans …
and at the bottom you can listen to a selection of huge classics from their first albums!
