Oakland’s The Heartlights released their punky power-pop debut ‘Oh Dear‘ back in 2017 on Burger Records and they are back with a brand new single ‘Figurines/Just for the Play‘. We’ve got the video premiere for the latter.
‘Just for the Play‘ is a bouncy garage-pop earworm with snappy bubblegum hooks. It’s cheerfully buzzy like early Go-Gos with a little more, well, buzz. So pay close attention, it’s a lot of fun to play ‘spot the cameo’ in the video!
