The Bed Wettin’ Bad Boys? Okay, ignore the name; it won’t matter once you spin this record a few times.
BWBB are from Sydney and the record is called “Ready For Boredom”. Almost everything I’ve read compares them to The Replacements in their glory days. I can hear it; certainly tracks like “Only Loneliness” or “Any Day Now” would slip in perfectly on Tim or Let It Be. It’s noisy, jangled, melodic punk rock and it’s on heavy rotation.
Anyway, this is just rock and roll, when did a moniker ever mean anything?
