Next up in our series concentrating on the bands that will be playing Gonerfest Eleven is Sick Thoughts. Described once as “A teen terrorist weened on a steady diet of Killed By Death comps, Flaming Groovies and hot dogs” , Sick Thoughts tears it up. The guitar shreds and Sick Thoughts pounds at the rawness of rock ‘n’ roll. We here at 50thirdand3rd met Sick Thoughts through our friends at Hidden Volume Records. For all of you going to Gonerfest , you’re in for quite a treat because when you meet and listen to Sick Thoughts you are listening to the future of rawk . Turn it up!!!

We are….

Well I’m the only consistent member but I’ve had William Chapstick on
drums , Greg the leg on guitar, Banjo Pete on bass, Mike Flesh Wave on bass,
and Jesse FC from Foster care on bass.

We are originally from…..

We are from Baltimore md

The first time we met was…..

I first met myself when I was peeing in the sink when I was in 3rd grade
and I made eye contact with myself in the mirror

We knew we were going to be a Band when………

I knew this was going to be a band when I gave my demo to hotshot CEO of
celebrated summer records, Tony Pence. he was very intimidating

Before starting the band we were employed as…….

I was employed as a student of middle school. William was a high schooler,
Pete makes banjos, greg is a referee for little league volleyball, Jesse FC
was at daycare and Mike was working for Sony tapes.

Our craziest gig ever was….

Our craziest was with the Hard Dads in Bmore. Good guys…

The first song we wrote was…….
TERMINAL TEENAGE when i was 15 in high school in my grandpas bedroom

It’s about……
being sick as shit of school ,mental illness and being alive

What we are currently listening to….

I am currently listening to lots of “Some Girls” by the stones and VOID.

“I’m most excited to play with a different line up and see what happens. Excited to see So Cow.”

For fun we like to…..

I like to go to school and do homework, and yell at little kids at a
daycare for minimum wage and play Drums.
