Hi our name is….
Mulu Lizi (pronounced moo-loo lizzy)
And our sound might be best described as….
Alternative rock. If you listen to our music, we’re kind of hard to pin down to one sound.
We are…
Art Zimmer – Vocals and guitar.
Chris Zimmer – Bass and vocals.
Steve Mackin – Lead guitar.
Kyle Craw – Drums.
We are originally from…..
Rochester, NY.
The first time we met was…..
Art and Chris are brothers. Kyle met Art and Chris in a previous band (What It’s Worth) in 2008. Art and Steve began jamming together in early 2012 and formed Mulu Lizi in March of 2012.
We knew we were going to be a Band when………
Art and Steve met and began talking about what we wanted with music.
Before starting the band we were employed as…….
We’ve all held many different day jobs, just trying to survive and pursue music. Steve worked for the government for a while and is still in sales. Art and Chris both work in landscaping during the week. Kyle worked at a pizzeria and studied as an electrician.
Our craziest gig ever was….
We’ve had a lot of great shows, but the craziest moment we’ve had was at our last show. We set up a banner with a homemade stand that another band made for their banner. During the whole set we felt it might fall over. We began playing our last song of the set and in the middle, the banner began to lurch forward. It smacked into Art and Chris and we kept playing as other people ran up to lift it back up. We have video of it on youtube haha. Steve was laughing almost immediately as it fell.

It’s about……
aliens coming to Earth after a nuclear/apocalyptic fallout, and the aliens trying to figure out what happened to us.
