The lo-fi punk attitude that runs throughout these tunes is super. I can just imagine them showing up at a nice white middle class , college coffee shop and watching the kids faces as they realize this is more than nice acoustic music. your thoughts on the state of music in 2015…..
I think this is one of the best times for music ever. I feel lucky to be alive because I was around to see Katy Perry rise to become the greatest pop singer in history and actually get a chance to see her shows live.
Future generations will probably look back on this time period and be like “I wish I had been born early enough to see Katy Perry at her prime. It’s not fair. She is so old now and in a wheelchair and she has alzheimer’s disease and can’t remember how to sing song anymore. 🙁 ”
Our plans for the rest of 2015/2016…..
We are almost done recording an EP of nine songs, it’s called Ocean Maniacs.
Then we are gonna start on another EP called Kitty Purry: Escape From Maniac Mountain. My plan for that album is to combine the sensibilities of Katy Perry, punk, and horror.
