Lady Lamb, formerly Lady Lamb the Beekeeper, is one Aly Spaltro, a young twenty-something from Brunswick, Maine (now in Brooklyn) who has been releasing music since 2007.
Billions of Eyes is off her latest – After, and it’s easily one of my favourite songs of the year. Comparisons to Courtney Barnett, and Thao are inevitable but for these ears Lady Lamb sounds like like Chrissie Hynde fronting The Kinks.
