“Adult Diversion” by Alvvays is our record of the day. Of course it is. I love this lo-fi feel and always with that upbeat drumming in the back. This band makes me happy and this song is no different, andddddd I definitely need a little adult diversion after being snowed in for 3 days now! Alvvays is out of Toronto forming in 2012 and members are vocalist Molly Rankin, keyboardist Kerri MacLellan, guitarist Alec O’Hanley, bassist Brian Murphy, and drummer Phil MacIsaac. The group is playing some festivals this summer including Coachella.
