Record of the Day: Glory, Glory by And The Kids

2015 has been a kick ass year for fem-rock. With releases from Courtney Barnett, Waxahatchee, La Luz, the reunion of Sleater Kinney—it’s a good time to be a girl rocker. Massachusetts trio And the Kids are a welcomed addition to this year’s gang of bad ass girls.

And The Kids’ February 2015 release, Turn to Each Other, was welcomed widely by NPR, Pitchfork, and even the Wall Street Journal.  Today’s Record of the Day, “Glory Glory,” turns a classic folk hymn into a modern day indie anthem for the drunken and sullied.
