It’s as if Polly Punkneck was born on the stage.
Americana Soul Singer/Songriter.
“Residing somewhere between Dolly Parton and Gwen Stefani” (Democrat & Chronicle, Rochester NY), Polly’s ‘Truth or Tales’ is truly an Americana adventure. Recorded in Nashville TN and backed by Grammy performing musicians, whom usually share the stage with Jack White and Old Crow Medicine Show.

Polly is a Kansas girl who started moving around the country pursuing her musical talents at a very young age. It was in Hollywood CA that she joined the group, The Punknecks, and ventured on a ‘never-ending’ tour in a camper. The ongoing 10-year run with The Punknecks has fueled her story telling in her songs.

The Punknecks perform around 200 shows per year, coast to coast.
In the midst of touring with the group, she emerged naturally as a solo artist as well. Performing her creative style of songwriting and showcasing her hand-sewn costumes. Polly is endorsed by Breedlove guitars, which she uses at every live show as well as her recording sessions. Her music is available online iTunes, CDbaby and also at live shows.
