From the first hiss of tinniness of the cheap hi-hat count in, you know that you’re in for a gutter of a time listening to Crom/Dam’s debut 45 Black Nylons. This is shitty basement scuzz punk at its best, and the tinnitus inducing duo from Victoria, British Colombia –Tiemen Kuipers and Shelby Rambo (ex-members of Line Traps)- demonstrate right here how down ‘n’ dirty rock ‘n’ roll should be executed.
Black Nylons is Crom/Dam’s -short for Chromosome Damage- debut 7 inch and in celebration they’ll be releasing 50 copies on clear vinyl on one side and a screen printed back side on May 1st. Purchase of Black Nylons also comes with the first issue of the band’s very own zine, Chromosome Damage.
Imagine yourself at 3am, on your hands and knees crawling across the sticky carpet of a dive bar desperately searching for half-smoked cigarettes and small change. Compress that into a sleazy soundtrack and you got Crom/Dam.
Pre-order Black Nylons on Bandcamp now.
