Record of the Day is I Hate the Weekend by Tacocat

The weekend is officially over, let’s jam about it with Tacocat’s “I Hate the Weekend”.tacocat It actually makes today bearable and okay. Nope, better than that it makes it hopeful in a kind of kiss my ass kind of way like yeah it’s Monday, so what. Tacocat does pop-punk to perfection with its surf-rock grrrl vibe and bubblegum sticky-sweet sound. “I Hate the Weekend” is the first single from their third album Lost Time with Hardly Art Records. Tacocat is Emily Nokes, Eric Randall, Bree McKenna, and Lelah Maupin from Seattle. The very talented quartet have been playing together since 2007. Tour dates begin mid-February mostly out west… So catch them if you can.

And because I can, here is the video for “I Hate the Weekend”…
