Giving a big shoutout to my new friends at Dirtnap Records, a new album is being released by the band Martha. Martha is a four-piece English band that belts out passionate power pop and punk. This is their second album release and Blisters in the Pit of My Heart will be available July 1st. “Goldman’s Detective Agency” sings about a re-imagined 20th-century anarchist Emma Goldman, with an upbeat tempo, a strong drumbeat and screaming guitars. The band is currently on tour through September. Martha is Nathan Stephens Griffin on drums, Naomi Griffin on bass, J. Cairns and Daniel Ellis on guitars. Social misfits with a determined attitude to grow up and stay punk, political and passionate.
