Found this song yesterday and have been playing it on repeat since, “Eastside” by Charlie Faye and the Fayettes. This 60’s inspired sound just gets under my skin and I can think of nothing but that sweet sound and good feelings. Memories of riding in the car with my aunt when I was little, her singing and teaching me the ways of The Supremes. “Eastside” can be found on the self-titled debut album released last month. All eleven songs will keep you dancing and completely enchanted by the voices of Charlie Faye, BettySoo and Akina Adderley. The group is out of Austin, TX and their catchy sound of soul and pop can be heard as they go on tour in August and will be here in Nashville as they play The Americana Fest this year in September.
