Here’s what I know about Chicago’s Heavy Times.
They’ve been around since at least 2010, released three albums (on Rotted Tooth and HoZac) and a bunch of EPs and singles of catchy garage punk noise pop. They’ve been referred to as “Chicago’s most hated band”.
I don’t know the back story to that tag but I do know that their new single – Dancer – (out on Randy Records) is an insanely addictive 80s synth-wave punk gem.
