The Sonics have always been a huge influence on me. Aside from a few Dylan songs, I really never got into the whole 60’s “flower power” music era but The Sonics garage/punk assault really hit a chord with me, figuratively and literally. That’s why I was so stoked to hear that Jerry Roslie and 3 of the original band members will be putting out their first new LP in almost 50 years! Produced by Jim Diamond (White Stripes/Dirtbombs) and recorded in kick ass mono, the album will be out March 31st via Revox Records.
