Diane Coffee is the creation of Shaun Fleming who has been the drummer of Foxygen . I first listened to this Album when I noticed they were the opening act this past fall for Those Darlins .My Friend Fish is Shaun’s’ creation ,self recorded by him while he was sick in Manhattan. The band was put together for the Tour. Flash forward a few months and Diane Coffee is getting good press from NME, Pitchfork and my magazine of choice Shindig. This album is rich in sounds, Beatlesque at times , think late Beatles. Very cool, indeed….
