I remember the first time I heard this song. I was living in Hampton,Virginia and it came on the “Alternative Rock” radio station 96X WROX-FM.
At first I figured it was just another wannabe “Grunge” band that was saturating the airways at the time (Candlebox, Bush, Silverchair) but after a few more times, I realized they were more of a Power Pop band in the vein of Matthew Sweet and Teenage Fanclub (both of whom I was a huge fan off). I never bought the album that the song was featured on, Frosting On The Beater, but recently it was included on a compilation album that I have had on heavy rotation for the last week or so. Enjoy!

Ha. I wore Frosting On The Beater out in ’93 and had to splice my cassette! Solar Sister, Definite Door, Flavor Of The Month and Dream All Day are still on regular play. Still have have my old cassette, too. The Posies didn’t get enough credit, they produced some masterful power pop. Jon and Ken had good solo stuff too.
My station was 99x.FM ATL!
Groovy choice, B. No social media to share this on, so comment I have!

I went thru my share of tapes too…I got pretty good at repairing them! Thanks J!
