What we have here is some glorious new garage noise from LA’s The Paranoyds.
Their new 5-song EP – Eat Their Own, further proves that this is a band ready to break out.
Their sound is alien; fuzzy guitars, psychedelic organ and droning vocals mixing early B52s with a little of the 60s groove of The Tammys and the avant-pop fuzz of 90s era Stereolab.
The EP is out as a very limited cassette, just 200 available in two colors, Egg Yolk Yellow and Big Sky Blue.
Favourite track: Bear.
