Nikki Lane. That’s all that needs to be said really. She has a voice that makes me melt, I love to just hear her talk and she can talk. 
If you ever catch a show you know, she is all genuine and shit. Her voice is like butter and her style is this rebellious country girl who will kick your ass and keep singing kind of style. Loretta Lynn paired with rock n’ roll perfection. And well I think she hates me, well I have my suspicions. Nikki Lane was the very first review I ever did, so for that Ms. Lane I am begging forgiveness. It’s also the reason I hate doing reviews. What business do I have doing them anyway. Don’t google the review or anything, it was basically me in 1500 words trying not to sound as if her album All or Nothin’ had me drooling and falling in love like a pathetic school girl. Some of my words got all twisted and then I named it “Nikki Lane is All or Nothin'”… ugh I know right. So bad. I am also bad at titles. I was trying to tie in to her album at the time, and in my head it was perfect because she is definitely everything. But you know, hindsight is 20/20 and all that, right? “Highway Queen” is the title track to her upcoming album. Check it out and let me know what you think. Highway Queen comes out on Friday, February 17… It will soon have a place at my house sitting next to All or Nothin’, spinning repeatedly.
