Now this is a fun way to wake up . Give a listen to this , like I said before The Pearl Harts rock…hard
In an era overflowing with auto-tuned talent show wannabes and electro pop flops the honest rawness of The Pearl Harts cuts through like a razor. Kirsty and Sara met on the road, decided to form a band and then launched to the world a stunning filmed live session of their first song ‘BLACK BLOOD’. It was an instant hit with Clash, Artrocker and NME who all fell for them instantly.
Now The Pearl Harts present their new track ‘HIT THE BOTTLE’- an intense shot of in your-face attitude; snarling vocals, screeching guitar loops and insistent drums. Their incredible live show has found them as an in-demand warm-up act for musical giants such as Garbage, Stereophonics and now Skunk Anansie who they are currently on a 27-date European tour with.
Recorded for their debut album by long-term collaborator Tobin Jones (Powell, Bo Ningen, Swedish Death Candy) and mixed by Max Heyes (Bo Ningen, Primal Scream, Doves); Hit The Bottle is a bone-crunching, intoxicating track served up with a healthy shot of vices. According to the band, the track is about “trying not to give into your vices but you’re always doing it…. debauchery, having fun, playing shows…. giving into your dark side”.
Accompanying video shot by Sean Robinson deep in the depths of a London scrapyard is the perfect backdrop to the hard of nails attitude of The Pearl Harts
‘Hit The Bottle’ is fast and furious… music that is about to explode. For fans of The Kills, Slaves, QOTSA, Juliette and The Licks and Black Sabbath.
