The 50thirdand3rd Premiere of Keep It Simple, Stupid by Modern Convenience

“Keep It Simple, Stupid” is the first bite from a new EP coming from one of our favorite fuzzed out garage punk outfits – Modern Convenience.

ModCon will be releasing the new 7″ EP on What’s For Breakfast? Records this July. Titled “What U?” after the lead track, it drops 4 hot rippers that squeal through saturated reverb with more garage punk grievances against the world.

Modern Convenience is a long running punk trio out of Nashville, TN, with full length releases on Heavy Dose and Maximum Pelt. It’s the brainchild of frontman Mike Bibbs, who writes and records everything himself, bringing in a rotating cast of friends for his frequent US tours and his recent European tour. He’s strongly influenced by the Goner sound of his native Memphis and I would recommend his music for fans of Jay Reatard, Guitar Wolf, Wipers, and so on.

We did an interview with Mikey B a little while ago, you can read it HERE!
