Local Track Spotlight: Nature Boys: Grave

This is the first of a weekly spotlight on tracks that I am super into for various reasons and are also local to my region. Kansas City has had many great artists over the years and this will focus on the active artists in this scene. Nature Boys are an amazing band that is from this region in the midwest that we call home. They have proven this with their amazing live performances, their three studio albums, the singles and cassettes that have all happened during their 10 years as an active band. The song I am into the most at the moment is “Grave” from the Nature Boys 3rd L.P. The lyrics are fit for days of despair, and rock n roll like this gives hope for a better future for all humans. I believe the true origin of punk was not to destroy but to protect and lift one another up. Nature Boys bring the true origins blazing back not only in sound but in their actions as well.
