Springfield, Illinois’s Local Drags released the EP – “The Boys Are Still In Town” back in November and since then things look a little quiet on the social media front for these guys. But the six songs here are too good to ignore.
Their power pop has big guitars, and catchy choruses and Local Drags seemingly time traveled from the early 90s, after playing shows with the likes of Buffalo Tom, the Smithereens, and Gigolo Aunts.
Over the past few months I’ve added a couple of tracks to playlists like the blistering “The Wall” and the Gaslight Anthem sing along “Big APple 3 A.M.”
