One wild night of rock n roll happened in St. Joseph, Missouri last night. As music makes its return little by little I feel we gain back that human interaction that we long for and great bands and friends to hang out and listen to them with you! First up Kool 100s are no strangers to the area and a welcomed breath of fresh air, doo-wop punk, slamming drums, and a bass guitar thumping all around. This is what I needed the entire time I was in isolation. The raw grit and soul of Kool 100s shows me know what kind of really special musicians we have in our Kansas City area. Stay tuned for the Spotify list at the bottom and you will get just what I am talking about.

New to the scene and coming out like a whirlwind of a surf tsunami. Ghost Town Strays played surf instrumentals in a luchador wrestling mask. Adding to the already amazing garage punk bands that we have in Kansas and proud to have them in our scene. They are very slick and polished and I dig the get-up. In the end Ghost, Towns Strays sets up for set #2 a welcome invite for the late stumblers of the evening. Impressive stuff from our area all around! None of these bands were from St. Joe but the Sk8bar and people welcomed them in like they belonged the whole time and were just waiting for us to come along.

So this was a release show for the above-pictured record. Art was done by Josh Lord from Australia. Original double a-sided single with originals from Mr. and The Mrs. Only facts on this one because it is my band and I do not feel Like I should review it. This was one hell of a night for rock n roll that is true! The band camp link is for the seven-inch and the Spotify list features all three bands. Thank you to Dr. 47 for putting on such amazing shows at Sk8bar in St. Joseph, Missouri. Until next time. -Benny Fuzz
