Josie Cotton – “He could be the one” – Record of the Day

“He could be the one” was one of Josie Cotton’s hits from 1982. It’s a perfect slice of bouncy new wave pop, it would not have been out of place on any of the Go-Go’s records. It’s from her super rad album Convertible Music. It’s also on the soundtrack to the film Valley Girl, which Cotton also appears in.
