We are…..Tom Hoy (guitar), Chika Obiora (bass), Ian Costello (drums), Cero Cartera (guitar/vocals)
We are originally from….. NYC and NJ
Who are some that have an influence on your sound?? Tool, RATM, Radiohead, Mars Volta, Battles,
The first time we met was….. In a bar in Hell’s Kitchen. The air was ripe with summer garbage smells and Tom and Cero talked about their musical aspirations over warm beer until the sun set over the sounds of drunken miscreants running through the city. That was the first physical meeting. Tom and Cero first met digitally by way of a Craigslist post and worked together for a couple of years before finding Chika and Ian by the same method.
We knew we were going to be a Band when……… At First Sight? The first conversation between Tom and Cero let both of them know that they should work together. They both loved aggressive music with raw, analogue intensity and a penchant for the uncomfortable. Both were looking to be able to scream on stage, which explains a lot about the first songs that they produced. When Ian and Chika signed on, playing together felt natural and that is a rare thing.
Before starting the band we were employed as……. Freelance project manager, worked in hospitality, food lab, and college student
Our craziest gig ever was…. The one where people moshed and then we rocked so deafeningly loud, the power went out. Literally, the power went out for about 10 minutes before order could be restored. We vamped as much as we could but there are only so many fart jokes you can tell without some serious preparation.
The first song we wrote was……. Carnivore
It’s about…… The love affair lots of young people have with their first real jobs out of college. It can be thrilling until you realize that the people you work for would eat their own young under the right circumstances. They follow a different rule book, one that usually includes sucking the life out of others for their own personal gain, all under the guise of what’s good for the company.

When your touring and have some time off, where could we find you? At a bar, diner, or arcade. Mostly a bar, preferably with live music.
The one thing we want you to remember while your listening to us. You are not alone. There is a community of people just like you who are tired of being swept aside while others reap the rewards of your work. We celebrate that community in our music
