I truly thought I’d exhausted every last bit of the suprisingly vast unearthed catalog of unreleased Prissteens nuggets. I’ve tried to do my best to share with all of you what I’ve dug up by issuing limited edition Cassettes, spreading the gospel and sharing the wealth.
A couple months ago, I happened upon a newly uploaded video from the Billy Ruane Live Archive Preservation. It’s a Prissteens show from February ’97 at storied Boston rock club The Middle East.
The whole video is worth watching. There are puppeteers in the audience that Lori seems to get a real kick out of. The set opens with the tune “Bad Luck Charm” which was previously completely unknown me. I started pestering Joe Vincent about whether a recorded version of this exists. Magically, as he often does, he dug one up for me.
