I think it was Nick who kept telling me to listen to First Aid Kit. While playing some tunes over the weekend, I played their song Emmylou. I find it hard to believe that I’ve never listened to them before this, simply put , if you love Folk Music this is just beautiful , maybe the best new traditional folk that I’ve listened to in a long time. Okay maybe drums and an organ aren’t really traditional folk but it does take you back to the glory years when Folk ruled the Village. Just amazing stuff…..
