New music – Cor de Lux – Snap out of it

Cor de Lux formed in 2018 during a harvest moon on the coast of North Carolina in a town called Kill Devil Hills. The band is releasing their 2nd album titled M E D I A that is due for release in early 2022. Cor de Lux combines post-punk, dream pop and shoegaze music to great effect. You can hear bits of influence from the likes of Slowdive, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Cocteau Twins. I caught the band earlier this month opening for Sweeping Promises during an excellent show at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, NC. The latest single off their upcoming album is “Snap out of it”. They’ve recently been featured a few times on Henry Rollins’ radio show on KCRW in Los Angeles.

The single is available now on Bandcamp, Spotify and other streaming platforms.
