Banditos – Visionland; Album of the Week

Banditos 2015 debut record sure was a favorite around these parts, their sound mosaic hitting all the right spots.

The bands’ newest record “Visionland” is out and there is not a hint of a sophomore slump as they go about laying down 10 tracks steeped in Muscle Shoals country soul, hip-shaking rock and roll, and punky twang.

Visionland is named after a $60 million theme park that was built in the late ‘90s near some of the band members’ childhood homes in Bessemer, Alabama. The park was shut down after operating for only 5 years and is now the home of a splash park.

Back in 2015 we posted an interview with Corey Parsons (read it here).

Pick up Visionland from BLOODSHOT RECORDS.
