Australia Rocks (II) – Seven More from Down Under

For some reason I’ve always been partial to music from Australia. Maybe it’s a result of my late 70s adolescent crush on Olivia Newton-John (I saw Grease at least 8 times that summer), or the fact that (I’m) Stranded by The Saints is one of my favourite songs of all time.

Recently we featured a pair of Melbourne acts –  DIY punker Brat Farrar (read it HERE) and post-punk trio The Sunday Reeds (read it HERE). Sam (from Brat) was more than willing to give a shout out to a number of bands currently active in the scene down there. Since I love Brat Farrar, I thought I’d check out a few of the names on his list and a few others that have caught my attention.
