It’s like Joan Jett fronting The Ramones ,or The Ronettes as punks and I wrote that before I read anything about them. Total kick ass album that is a must listen to , maybe we can get a “Meet The Band ” going with them. So go ahead and crank this up and get your self grooving and rocking to the garage punk madness that is – Juliette Seizure & the Tremor-Dolls

from their bandcamp:
Juliette Seizure & the Tremor-Dolls set out to be a blend of first wave punk and 60s girl-groups, taking the brattiness of the Zeros and the diabetes inducing sweetness of the Chiffons to make a mutant creation for fans of The Muffs, Nikki and The Corvettes, Tina & the Total Babes and anyone who likes their powerpop with a healthy dose of punk. Tremor-Dolls have taken all of their favourite bits like distorted guitars, three-part harmonies, matching outfits, and backing singers with synchronized dance moves and combined these elements to inject a bit of fun and silliness into their live show as well as their recordings.

Juliette Seizure & the Tremor-Dolls from Adelaide, Australia entered the ring in 2013 and have been searching Australian venues for the most generous rider ever since. In November 2015 they released their debut four track 7-inch EP and have just about sold out of that record entirely. If you liked the EP, then get your stripes and pink pleather ready because the debut album, Chewing Out Your Rhythm On My Bubblegum is twelve tracks recorded at the same time as the EP and they have the same production and mastering!

Throughout the album, Juliette references Ramones, The Ronettes, The Exploding Hearts, Screeching Weasel, The Hellacopters, The Muffs, and NOBUNNY so why not grab yourself a copy and go on a rock’n’roll treasure hunt to find them all?
