We’ve long been fans of Mikey “Chaos” Bibbs, aka Modern Convenience and his sonic new wave garage fuzz, so we’re stoked for the new jams on “So So Modern“.
The Nashville, by way of Memphis rocker handles pretty much everything on “So So Modern“, except the cover art (done by Mac Blackout). Like his previous releases 2014’s “Reckless Dreamer”, 2015’s “Fuck With Fire“, 2017’s “The Wild and the Reckless” – the new record is a wall of sound. It’s wild mash of garage punk, new wave, art punk and classic rock and roll.
