“Runaway” is the brand new single from AFFAIRS taken from their just released EP Stained Gold, recorded at The Kinks’ legendary Konk Studios. AFFAIRS is a Manchester based alt-indie band and previous releases have included “Play” and “Blood Science” which were talked about here by yours truly. Their latest release “Runaway” is an exploration of youth and testing the limits of a wild night out and the hazy surrounding themes. Listening to the deep and dramatic voice of lead singer James Robinson, it’s not hard to grasp the freedom you feel in youth but the darkness that awaits us ahead.
