If you miss the raunch and roll of both Motörhead and The Plasmatics, Sweden’s Acid Blood will simply blow your gasket.
From the city of Umeå, home to bands such as Meshuggah, Final Exit, and Refused, Acid Blood unleash punk that is visceral, and bursting with sneering energy. Vocalist Jojo Anderbygd, guitarist Karl Backman (AC4, The Vectors), bassist Emil Fjällström (Raging Steel), and drummer Isak Mörtzell weld together raw punkish fury with thrashing metallic riffing.
Acid Blood released the EP ‘Dagger Eyes‘ in 2017 and the LP self-titled LP in 2019, which has now been picked up by German label JanML Records and in the US from Dead Beat Records.
