Pike Cavalero is a musician and songwriter who grew up in the South-East of Spain. I first heard these guys in 2011 when “Just a Matter of Manners” came out and I knew they were “The Real Deal”.
They adopt ’50s U.S. rock & roll and rockabilly but give it their own distinctive style. From the very first track, the incredibly contagious “Real Deal Woman” to the very last song, I couldn’t leave the room.
These guys know that Rockabilly has to be raw and they keep it that way all the way through the album. (highlights: Coke N Rum Blues, Stacy Lee and Real Deal Woman)
