The 50thirdand3rd Premiere of ‘Puc’ by CUP

Tym, the drummer from Queen Giza has a side project, that is a solo recording project but a full band for live shows, called Cup. Tym wrote this up as an introduction to ‘Puc’ premiere

Up until now, Cup’s five releases have been loud, garagey, kinda rough but maybe fun rock, but Puc takes on a very different shape musically–largely inspired by King Gizzard’s Paper Mache Dream Balloon, both Ty Segall and Wand/Cory Hanson’s acoustic offerings, and some of Thee Oh Sees’ early, folky stuff. Walk into the mystic forest and take a dip in the mystic pond with the pastoral man, the pastoral woman. Prepare for the apocalypse, but don’t be anxious. It’ll be ok. When the entire world is ending–rivers burning, mountains crumbling, your thoughts and dreams floating away–there’s nothing left to do but boogie.

And I agree with his assessment, I like the psych vibes and the underground feel to all of this and I encourage you all to give this a listen…
