YouTube Gold – The Making of Almost Blue

YouTube is one of the greatest neighborhoods on the internet and every once in a while you strike gold. Here is a documentary that takes viewers behind the scenes of Elvis Costello and the Attractions in Nashville, Tennessee recording the album Almost Blue. Almost Blue marked the first stylistic departure in Costello’s storied career. Recorded and released in 1981, Almost Blue features Costello and the Attractions tackling country music standards. The recording studio scenes are absolutely fantastic. Give yourself an hour and watch this one in its entirety. Nothing good is on real TV anyway.
