TURKISH DELIGHT was an experimental and electrical post-punk quartet from Boston, MA formed in 1994 and led by charismatic singer Leah Callahan. Their especial, wayward debut album Tommy Bell appeared two years later. The band toured the US and gained a dedicated local following but split, unfortunately, soon afterward to come back in 1998 for one hometown gig to promote second album Howcha Magowcha. Now, thanks to Boston based independent label I Heart Noise that strenuous firstborn ‘Tommy Bell‘ will be reissued on 10th November. To celebrate the event a video for Grammy, one of the LP’s stand out tracks featuring living legend Thurston Moore, directed by Boston artist Petridisch, was launched a few days ago. Here’s the distorted guitar turbulence spiced with a one-time remarkable duo on vocals…
